THE ONLY SWISS STREETWEAR BRAND USING RECYCLED COTTON

Because the world doesn’t need another clothing brand.

OUR SUSTAINABILITY CERTIFICATES

We produce our t-shirts as sustainable as it gets. Meaning we work with a renowned Portugese manufacturer, known for their craftsmanship in sustainable clothing. The short shipping distance also reduces our environmental impact.

HOW OUR COTTON IS RECYCLED

50% of the cotton in our T-shirts comes from leftover fabric that would otherwise go to waste. So called pre-consumer and industrial waste. Instead of being burned or dumped in massive landfills, we turn it into sick new T-shirts.

We go the extra mile: even our neck and washcare labels are recycled!

Why only 50% recycled cotton? Recycled fibers lose strength during processing. By blending them with 50% new organic cotton, we achieve the perfect balance, ensuring the highest quality while maximizing sustainability.

SAVE WATER WITH ParsProToto

Producing 1 kg of conventional cotton requires up to 20,000 liters of water. Recycled cotton only uses around 400 liters of water for 1kg, and thus saves around 98% of water!

THE PROBLEM OF LANDFILLS

Without recycling, this valuable cotton would end up in massive landfills, where it is often burnt, causing significant harm to the environment.
Did you know that 92 million tons of textiles are discarded worldwide each year? That's enough to clothe approximately 1.8 billion people!

The throwaway culture has worsen progressively over the years. At present, many items are worn only seven to ten times before being tossed. This highlights the enormous potential and responsibility we have to reduce textile waste.

RECYCLED COTTON

Recycling cotton means there is less need for new farmland to grow cotton which helps preserve natural habitats and promotes biodiversity.

We use pre-consumer fabric waste for the recycled the cotton in our t-shirts. Pre-consumer waste is generated during the manufacturing of new clothing and consists of leftover fabric.

To prevent precious fibers from ending up in landfills, we give them a new life. First, the fabric is sorted by color and fabric type. It is then washed to be as clean as new cotton. Once sorted and clean, the fabric is shredded into small pieces and pulled apart. A new yarn is then spun, which is used to make new clothes.

ORGANIC COTTON

Virgin organic has cotton the same quality as standard cotton, but requires much less chemicals and water. Our recycled cotton is blended with virgin organic cotton to keep the quality as high as possible and the impact on the environment low.

Recycled cotton alone has shorter fibers because it's shredded during the recycling process. By mixing in organic cotton we strengthen the fabric without compromising on sustainability.
